SIEMENS CT Romania is the Romanian branch of these activities. CT has an extensive expertise and experience in all areas of software development, working for a large variety of sectors like energy, mobility and industrial manufacturing or services to mention but a few. Current research capacity and expertise of the department in Brasov (acting inside Siemens SRL, Romanian house company of Siemens) encompasses fields like Data Analytics and Monitoring, Constraint Based Configurations and Schedulers, Complex Event Processing, Medical Informatics, Intelligent Networks, Sensor Networks for Remote Diagnostics Systems, Data Acquisition Architectures and Future Internet Technologies, and also Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) design and verification, PCB design and implementation and full capabilities to do Hardware, Software and Mechanic co-designed solutions. The department acts at the global scale in Siemens Corporate Technology division, core technological house of the corporation.
Within the project SIEMENS will bridge the research and the industrial/business views of security (functional and information), privacy, reliability and interoperability by providing inputs to the technical work-packages and the use-cases. In more detail, apart from providing their knowhow in the fields related to WP2, Siemens will contribute to the development of the Patient digital twin in WP4. Due to their expertise in related fields, Siemens will lead the task of creating preventive patient-oriented strategies in WP5, while also contributing in the creation of the personalized care model and the knowledge base. To this end, Siemens will participate in dissemination and exploitation tasks, and will be involved in the activities related to the market analysis and exploitation, as well as to the roadmapping and impact on adoption.
